Giving Tuesday: Only by giving are you able to receive more than you already have

This year, Giving Tuesday lands on December 3rd. Founded on the concept of Radical Generosity — the belief that the suffering of others should be as intolerable to us as our own — Giving Tuesday has grown into a global phenomenon, spanning 90 countries.
The name can be misleading. While it’s celebrated on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday is a year-round movement to inspire generosity.
It’s a celebration of giving in all its forms. From donations, volunteering and campaigning to simple acts like making someone smile or being a shoulder to cry on, Giving Tuesday reminds us that we all have something to give and can help others in meaningful ways.
At illuminAid, we work tirelessly to support the communities we serve. Through our groundbreaking video education workshops, we aim to deliver knowledge that continues to create positive change long after the workshop ends.
For example, we’ve helped children in Togo learn proper handwashing techniques, which are critical for preventing the spread of disease. We’ve also equipped teachers in Togo with strategies to maintain orderly classrooms, ensuring that the next generation receives a high-quality education.
None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors.
By donating today, you can make a lasting impact on countless lives.
Just as the suffering of others should be as intolerable to us as our own, it’s also true that in the joy of others, we can find our own.
